The Victor and Janet Veysey Student Life Fund

The MOSH administers this fund, named in honor of Caltech alumnus, Victor Veysey, and his wife, Janet Veysey, who made the original contributions. Additional generous donations have come from alumni with an interest in undergraduate life.
Students and others on campus can apply to the Veysey Student Life Fund to help cover the cost of events that meet its goals of promoting the social and cultural development of Caltech undergraduates. Events that involve faculty-student interaction in the student Houses are especially suitable for funding.
There is no formal application and no deadline. If you have an idea for an event, contact the MOSH with a brief description of the event and a budget. The fund typically subsidizes rather than covers the whole cost. Proposals for House events should come from the social vice president or an equivalent position. Houses receive up to $1000 each per year.
